Mindset Shift in a Fitness Journey



It's probably not what you want to hear...

The goals you want to accomplish take months, not weeks, and sometimes years, not months.

It doesn't have to be as intimidating as it sounds though. Your entire experience in a fitness journey can change when you choose to give up the pressure of perfection and a time line. Instead of waiting around for results, actively choose to live every day as your best - no matter what that looks like. Your best will look different than someone elses, and will most likely look different day to day. That's okay!

My best advice, whcih came through experience, is to finally say no timelines, no “falling off track”, no restarting on mondays, no dieting, no “cheat days”, no “swimsuit season”, no perfection, no “weight loss” hacks, no quick fixes, and most importantly, no conditions. Instead, show up each day for yourself and let go of all expectations of perfection and conditions. This mindset shift will turn your journey into a LIFESTYLE instead of a race to results.

I encourage you to stop waiting around for results, and become comfortable with living each day to the best of your ability, even though your best will look different each day. You’ll be surprised how far you get when you take a second to look back!
